Text from the letter MBNA sent the client:
“Having investigated the complaint, I can advise you that the complaint is being upheld. Accordingly we have calculated the refund as follows:
Total amount of PPI premiums charged since sale date: £2939.96
Total amount of interest associated with the PPI premiums: £5975.12
Total amount of 8% interest: £930.12
Total amount payable: £930.95
A cheque will be sent to you within the next 28 days.”
