found that the client was entitled to a refund of £9,846.03!
Initially they were offering a smaller amount, however more pressure from JD LAW resulted in the following response:
“Further to our letter dated 29 June 2011, please note the correct refund amounts below,
Total amount of PPI premiums charged since sale date: £2939.96
Total amount of interested associated with the PPI premiums: £5975.12
Total amount of 8% interest: £930.95
Total amount payable to you £9846.03“
